To be considered for Swansea International Excellence Scholarship, an applicant
Note: The scholarship is for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Doctorate students are not eligible to apply or this scholarship.
Before applying for Swansea International Excellence Scholarship, it is mandatory for applicants to secure admission at Swansea University.
Applicants then must complete an online scholarship application form. The form should be complete in all respects to avoid rejection.
Recipients of the Swansea International Excellence Scholarship are shortlisted and selected on the basis of academic merit.
However, the previous academic record and performance, along with the fulfillment of all the eligibility criteria are taken into consideration prior to taking the final decision. Also, an applicant’s IELTS score plays a crucial role.
The decision of the Swansea University Awarding Committee is final and binding on all the applicants.
Note: Interviews are taken if necessary through an electronic medium.
The Swansea International Excellence Scholarship is available for international postgraduate students. A scholarship of £4,000 is available for PG students for the first-year of study.
The awarding committee of the university is the sole authority for deciding these scholarships. The applicants may get lower or higher amounts than what they have applied for.
The university gives an opportunity to make an appeal to the International development office within 15 days from the date the scholarship is withdrawn, in case the applicant finds the step unjustified.
