Course Curriculum Overview

Bcom computers applications course is all about accounts, computers languages and business. Some of the lectures teach to very well but some may not do that and even u can't understand their language also. They go on repeated points

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 27000 per year

Placement Experience

From 1st year they provide u part times but from 3rd year u get internships and all with the package of 4k per month, the placement that have appeared for our clg is 15 but all are some BPO and accountant jobs, Iam planning for MBA after my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

I studied in pragathi degree college in bcom computers applications per year 27000/- and they collect extra fee for lab records and extra activities and all. Overall it's a good clg but they are also some things which distrubs u accordingly to the lectures some are very friendly, some are not all good and they show all the grudges on u.

Campus Life

My experience as per my clg lifestyle is it's good and bad, I planned some trips to go and enjoy but college management have been cancelled all that Plans, I had a very good friends,I used to enjoy my class times.

Admission

This college, when they are taking admission they act very good in front of parents and all but when it comes to us after the admission when we have any prb or issue they won't respond in a correct way, they act very good infront of parents but not with us

Faculty

They are totally 120-130 students only for bcom computers applications course that to for a one year, they teach each and every subject, accounts is the best subject that mam will teach u very perfectly and friendly. They will conduct exams like internals but that marks are not considered to the finals.

Interview Experience

No GD, No exam, No interview for admission. On spot admission, you have to pay 5000 for admission, they will behave very friendly during admission but after that you will get to know their behaviour. No proper response of u have any problem regarding something

Night Life

There are not night life activities but we used to go out after our college time to some restaurants and shopping and all to chill out. They are many things to do around our college. No hostel, i used to go home and come to college

My college and my little world's experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was a science student before and I don't want to continue with my BTech or any other courses or I didn't wanted to continue in science so my brother suggestion me to choose BCom computer applications which could be very helpful in future. Currently I am pursuing B.com computer application and also preparing for some competitive exams so I think if I won't be able to clear community exams I will still be able to get my degree and get a job with 10 lakh per annum job. No need of any improvements in the course but I still want the faculty is to be more good with the students and teach each and everything a student can use in his or her life

There are placements prvided by our college. They claim to give 98 percent placements but the process is a bit hard. So there are 2 exams of aptitude conducted by college before we can even get in. So after we pass both the exams we will be trained and sent for interviews.

From the 5th semester college starts campus placements training and students shouldn't have any backlogs are eligible for placements. RSM US LLP, DITTO, PwC, Deloitte, Paltech, ICICI Bank, and many more companies visited the campus. The highest package was 10LPA given by McKinley Rice Company and the average Package is 3LPA. Till now morethan 50 percent students are placed in the companies. My plan is to go for a job.

Our college is good about discipline

Remarks:

The work load can be sometimes very hectic but being in Chandigarh everything is very accessible at every hr. Food through swiggy, Zomato is very easily accessed and even a lot is open at the night. So the hostel life is unmatched to any other place.
