Course Curriculum Overview
The curiosity of computer science made me choose this course . The curriculum prepare us for bacsic level at the reality. It doesn't provide us that much experience because there are assignments and notes to submit . We are unable to think out of the box. The need for viva should only be limited to projects and attendance.
Placement Experience
From last semester students become eligible for college placement. Highest package given to student in last year placement was around 720000 per year and average is 320000. Only around 20% students get college placement as other students might have a backlog or doesn't have a good CGPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise pay of fees are 52000. Out of which 43000 are tution fees , 8000 are exam fees and 1000 is extra. There is no fees for st category students and tfws seat students only need to pay exam fees.
Campus Life
There are 2 main fests a fresher fest named euphoria and a annual fest named illuminati. Technical fest are also conducted but the dates aren't fixed as main events. The library have ample amount of books and journals related to course. The sports and extracurricular activities are very appreciated by college faculty. There are different groups and clubs in college but AWS meet up provide a chance for students to join in their training program
Admission
I applied for Parul University and Maharaja Sayaji Rao University vadodara. The fees for Parul University were too much and I didn't qualify for MS University as there are limited seats and high cutoff marks
Faculty
The faculties to student ratio is about 1:12 as my course have more students than other but some courses have 1:6 ratio . Many of the faculties are kind and provide their utmost help when needed. Well in our course there are few bad faculties but a particular faculty Riya Modi have a bad attitude and a non- sensical ego , she can remove you from her class if you even miss a sentence in your notes while she is teaching because that hurts her ego. There are yearly 6 exams ,4 CET and 2 end semester exams. The curriculum is aligned with the GTU .
