Course Curriculum Overview

3

I had given NEET in awe of getting into MBBS course but due to vast competition and less seats I could not get a seat. This option was budget friendly and also tempting. There is a lot of scope in dentistry and there is blind money without any risk of life .So yeah I like the course alot. There is scope for masters and surgery too.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The Tuition fees is between 1-1.5 lacs per year. The hostel fees is 70K per year. Hostel is optional. The hostel is within the campus. There is a 20k security money which is refundable. You can apply for NSP scholarship. Also the college is NAAC accredited.

Campus Life

2

The campus life is fine as long as you have friends. There are very few cultural activities organised. Every Year there is Ganesh Pooja combined cultural activities. The Boys organize a few sports events. The girls have Janmashtami night.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel is not so good. There are single double and triple occupancy.Yoi have got to pay extra for the single occupancy room(10k to 15 k extra r annum)The mess food is okay. We get rice dal roti and sabji and dahi for lunch .In dinner it's the same but no dahi ..Sundays, there is special food. Most interns stay outside..There is water and electricity problem too in summers.

Admission

Basically, I applied for All India Councelling for al the Government MBBS AND BDS seats but then I was rejected in the first round The college is good in case of monetary affairs. The location is also good. You will get to do postings in Medicine and Surgery wards too . So it's a different aspect all together.

Faculty

3

The faculty manpower is very low per department. The college conducts 3 exams (2 internal assessmens and one Pre University). The university conducts 1 main exam.It is important to pass in this exam. Supplementary exams are held in u months. You can give next year 1 years after youpass the previous year.if you fail in one subject you are with the batch and can clear the exam in supplementary but if you get back in more than one subject you are remanded for 6 months. You can study the last few months and pass. The question papers are repeated from previous year itself. The faculty is good and there is no ragging .It is literally school like vibe here. There is also 9 departments and PG is their in 7 departments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Choose This Course because I Didn't Clear rhe cutoff For MBBS course so I have to Choose this field. 2-3 Faculty Are there for each department in the college , i.e 1 Teacher for 33 students as there is maximum of 100 students in each batch. Most of the Faculty's have completed there post graduation in the field , i.e MDS ( master's of Dental Surgery) but there are also some faculty who only had there under graduation degree , i.e BDS (Bachelor's Of Dental Surgery). There is no semester system here yearly exams are taken. But Internals examination are also there which are held every four months. Examination Paper's are directly from the RUHS University which are neither Easy nor Hard.

The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do. You're going to go through tough times - that's life. Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose. A good laugh is sunshine in the house.
