My college and its learnings

I don't have any specific aspects i just choosed commerce for graduation. The curriculum need to be improved very well because in real world application it somewhere fails. Teacher's should use smart classes, organise quizzes. There was no fixed timing of exams we gave exam after one month of course study because of poor management.

Soban Singh jeena university is a government college of Almora. I did bachelor's in commerce that includes six semester and in each semester there was a admission fees between ?1300- ?1800 increasing ?100 in every semester. Other fees which was paid is examination fees of ?650 every semester. All students have same fees categories rather than their cast or gender. There is no amounts of scholarship or financial aid that are available for students.

My overall experience with campus life is not that good. They organises freshers party and farewell party and a fest named aarambh. Books are available in library but content is outdated. Poor infrastructure and classrooms.

I didn't applied for any other colleges because they were far away from my hometown and they all are government college and provides same courses. For admission i registered to the soban Singh jeena university website choosing my course and filling my details after that i submitted the documents required and got admission. There are no entrance exam for any courses other than B.Ed.

Faculty members are supporting but few are very annoying and unanswerable. The faculty to student ratio is almost around 1:50 . Science faculty and department is very good and well maintained building's. Exams difficulty level is normal but around 60% students gives back exams.
