Likes
- The students who are regular doesn't need to come to the college daily that's the best part. Campus is very lively mainly because of new students, teachers are very patient and have a great teaching attitude.
- The infrastructure of the college is very good we have got a seminar hall, 2 auditoriums and many classes which can fit 80-90 students easily.
- The teachers are very frank with the students but get strict where they should be. Placements are done every year in the college campus itself and it benefits many students I have seen from the past 2 years.
Dislikes
- The parking space needs to be bigger because there are 4000+ students in the college.
- The infrastructure must be good but the washroom are almost never clean they should pay special attention to the hygiene of the students.
- In the name of sports we just have a yard to play the games we don't have a proper court for any of the sport.
Course Curriculum Overview
I basically choose this course only for the degree as I'm a commerce student but I'm planning to persue the cabin crew as it is my main interest and the field I want to work in, I have also done the diploma course from the frankfinn institute of air hostess training. but yeah if I say then the course needs to be improved because the things I studied in my first year were same as 12th class and in 3rd year they said the course of both first and second year will be combined.
Placement Experience
In my previous year only the last year students were eligible for the placements but from now on second and third year students both are eligible to take the interviews of the company who come in the campus. The students must score above 60% to sut in an interview. I don't have any plans in this field though because my main focus is cabin crew.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I was admitted in the college they took Rs. 8000/- plus Rs. 1000/-registration and then there was an additional Rs. 250/- for the t-shirt we got for the sports week and next year they increased the fees by 1000/-,in the third year also they increased the fees by 1000/- my batchmates also have the same fees but my friend who has a computer as her vocational subject she has to pay extra Rs. 2000/-. I belong to the general category so I don't know about the scholarships other students get.
Campus Life
There are almost all of the festivals celebrated in the college along with the freshers party, annual function, sports week, and many more. The books are easily available in the library and the best part is you can also take them for the exam after giving the full amount as security fees and after the exams when you return the book they will return the amount after deducting Rs. 20/-.
Admission
I did not apply to other colleges because as I said previously I just need a degree from BCOM and my main focus is on the position of Air hostess. But if we talk about the admission procedure then it is very simple, It does not take more than 2 hours to fill out the form and submition the fees the facilities explain what documents, you need at the time of admission and guide you properly when you fill the form even a person who doesn't know English can easily get the admission.
Faculty
Faculties were less in the past 2 years but they have increased it seeing the no. Of students and in my opinion almost all the facilities are frank and like a friend we can ask any doubt we have about the topic and they take regular tests of the course . I personally love harshita ma'am and jayesh sir's teaching style because it is so smooth a 9th class student can also understand what they are teaching. I don't like rajshree ma'am because she actually teaches like it is a school I mean she should know what is the difference between school and college. There are only 2 exams the final exam and the internals which are taken before the final exams to prepare for the finals, these exams are easy because the teachers set the paper accordingly.
