The College Life

I took admission by ACPC which is the counseling board of Gujarat board. It generates a rank list based on the science percentile and GUJCET percentile scored by the student. It takes around 60% of the science percentile and 40% of the GUJCET percentile.

My chosen course is Information and Communication Technology. It is present in limited colleges in Gujarat. And since Adani Institute is one of the good colleges teaching this course, selected it. The faculties are helpful.

Some of the companies hiring our college students are IQM which provides the role of Software Engineer, Backend Web Developer, Frontend Web Developer, and Full Stack Web Developer. Many other companies like Juspay also hire in our college.

The placements at our college are average but are increasing every year. Since our college is new it is one of the drawbacks. But our Career Development Cell is helping very much to make us placement ready.

The fees are being collected semester-wise in our college. Many students including me avail the benefit of government scholarships offered to students studying Engineering. Some of these scholarships are MYSY, FOODBILL, etc.

Our college has many good clubs too. Some of them are the Media Club, Debate Club, Robotics Club, etc. Our Media club manages many photography events at our college. While our robotics club comes under AIIH which is a center of E-Yantra's ELSI.

Yes, there are some subjects like EFFECTIVE TECHNICAL COMMUNICATION where we are been taught how to speak in public and we are often having activities like Group Discussions also. We are also taught how to give an effective presentation too.
