Remarks
Yes, the seniors have always been like our guiding hands. I remember the first day I entered this place and I was so scared, there was a group of seniors who helped me reach my class and calmed me down. I am still friends with them, even though they have graduated.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am presently studying at the College, and it is my third semester here. Based on the experience I had, I would say the curriculum and course structure of the College is exactly what an MBA requires. The College does not follow the boring and basic pattern of just making the students attend lectures; it ensures that the personality of the students is groomed in a manner that they are capable of handling the corporate life efficiently. Regular workshops by recognized people from the business world are conducted and we are given research projects too which help us gain an insight into the actual market conditions. Thus, a comprehensive patter of theoretical and practical knowledge is followed by the College.
Placement Experience
Placement is the factor where AIM easily outshines other management colleges. The average packed offered by the companies ranges from 3.5 lakhs per annum to5 lakhs per annum, which is pretty decent, keeping in mind the profile that is provided and the growth potential over the years. Other than this, the placement committee ensures that they are inviting multiple companies to get their students placed. Every year companies like Titan, HDFC Bank, Hewlett and Packard, etc. visit our College to hire students for multiple profiles. Apart from placements, multiple internships are offered by the College, which helps us gain exposure. During my summer vacations, I worked as a digital marketing intern with a startup, which helped me bloom my marketing skills.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The College ensures that all the students have access to quality education regardless of their financial capabilities. Thus fee structure of AIM is highly feasible, and the total fees, including the miscellaneous expense, is around 2 lakh rupees making it one of the most affordable colleges for pursuing an MBA.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities conducted by the College include everything a student can think of. The classrooms, seminar halls, washrooms, etc. are all very well maintained. There is a range of activities that takes place in AIM throughout the year. Since I am very keen on debating, I got myself enrolled in the debating club, and it has made my college life much more fun and exciting. It helped me groom my communication skills and thus boosted my confidence.
Admission
I decided to go for an MBA in my final year of graduation. Since I was from a commerce background and had prior knowledge about the field, I felt like an MBA would give me a career boost. I sat for the UPSEE exam and cleared it with a good score; it was at that time I decided to apply for AIM. The College followed a straightforward procedure of admission, which didn't cause any trouble to the students. All I needed to carry with me included the college admission for along with other relevant documents such as previous year mark sheets and stuff. The administration ensures that the eligibility criteria are strictly followed. Since there is no set cut-off for the entrance exam, the selection depends on the overall result that year.
Faculty
The faculty of AIM is one of the best you would come across. The professors who teach us are highly qualified, having years of experience not only as professors, but some of them have even worked for MNCs too. Thus they are in a better position to help us gain information about the practical working of the corporate world. Their dedication and methodology of teaching are so good that we, as students, rarely feel like missing the lectures.
