Remarks :
Our college is very good. It is also the best colleges for post graduation. It is having both standard and feasible fees structure available. All class background students are welcomed here. Our college is also having many charitable works such as building houses for homeless people.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course should become little more liberal. Exam structure of this college is very good. We have 2 internal exams(50marks/subject each) and 1 Semester exam (100marks/subject each). Both internal and external exams are to be passed separately.
Placement Experience :
Their are plenty of placements and job opportunities available for the students in DiST college. Our college also provides internship for their students. As a 2nd year student I haven't still get the chance for internship.
College Events :
Our college has lots of events Celebrations. The college feast-diginito , management feast ,multi media feast, BA department feast , Onam , computer department feast and many more. The college feast and onam are celebrated and conducted by the whole college. The others are conducted by different departments.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure in the DiST college is paid in installments according to the Semester. For each semester the fee for management seat is 27000 rupees and for merit seats is 16000 rupees. Fee structure may reduce if there is any scholarship or other fee reduction policies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college is giving scholarships for those children who have scored above 90% marks in plus 2 classes. Students can get fee deduction if their siblings are also studying in the same college. Those who are backward classes will also be able to get fee deductions.
Campus Life :
The extra curriculum activities are very good in our college. There is a library provided by the college. There are 6 different labs in the college. Volleyball and basketball are provided with court I the campus.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network and senior students are very friendly to their subordinates and staffs of the the college. These alumni very helpful for the students as they can watch and learn from the senior students about the college.
Admission :
I got admission in DiST college by management criteria. I was not able to get admission based on my academic grades. So I was forced to apply for the management seat jn the college. I also got recommendation from my relative Fr. Augustine Vallooran VC.
Faculty :
The faculty should include some youngsters. The faculty members should be students friendly. They should involve new methods of teachings and renew their old ways of teaching. They should implement a 2 way communication with the students.
