1. Educational Background - Students must have a solid academic foundation in the following areas in order to qualify for the Master's in Accountancy and Control:
  • Accounting (12 ECTS)
  • Finance (12 ECTS)
  • Economics, Management, or Marketing (12 ECTS)
  • Mathematics and Statistics (18 ECTS)
  • Academic Training (24 ECTS)
  • Academic training means courses / experience in research skills and an academic way of working (if student has written a thesis or has done a research project this will count as academic training.)
  • Note: especially recommended are the following Bachelor (minor) courses:
    • Balans
    • Resultatenrekening en Administratieve Processen (Financial Processes)
    • Intermediate Management Accounting
    • Intermediate Financial Accounting
    • Comparative Financial Accounting
    • Auditing
    • Accounting Information Systems
2. English Language Requirements February 2025 Intake
- IELTS Academic: Overall 6.5 (min 6.0 in all parts).
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 90 (single test date only).
- Cambridge C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency: A, B, or C.
September 2025 Intake
- IELTS Academic: Overall 6.5 (min 6.0 in Writing/Speaking).
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 90 (min 21 in Speaking, 22 in Writing).
- Cambridge C1 Advanced: Minimum 176 (min 169 in Writing/Speaking).
- Exemptions: Passports from certain countries, completed degrees in English from specific countries, or degrees from Tilburg University/Dutch universities.
3. Application Deadlines EEA Nationals
