In this programme you will explore the philosophical foundations of the natural sciences, raising and discussing questions in the fields of metaphysics, epistemology and ethics.

Metaphysical questions are concerned with how natural scientists constitute the world. What objects are acknowledged by the natural sciences? Epistemological issues pertain to the nature and limits of our knowledge of the natural world. What is the difference between observation and experimentation.
