- Technical University Munich MS in Informatics: Games Engineering is an international and interdisciplinary field of science, and a master's degree in Informatics: Games Engineering from TUM will enable you to work and to pursue research in a multitude of different application domains worldwide.
- The Department of Informatics is one of the largest and most renowned informatics departments in Germany and its professors and teaching staff are experts in their respective fields. Students of our master's programs receive a top-level education and can tailor their program to focus in depth on the topics that interest them most.
- The Master's degree in Computer Science: Games Engineering comprises 4 semesters.
- In the first three semesters, the focus is not only on the compulsory modules, but also on the content of your chosen specializations. These are supplemented in the third semester by the master's seminar, a master's internship and, optionally, by guided research.
- The fourth semester is devoted to the master's thesi
- The master's program intends to equip students with the technical skills and knowledge required to design and actually realize the technical infrastructures underlying modern computer games, to transfer their skills and knowledge to new application domains, and to eventually discover ways to integrate computer games technologies into other research and application areas as well as into our everyday life
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree in Informatics: Games Engineering, computer science, or a similar computer-related field and the successful completion of the aptitude assessment procedure.
- Applicants with a Degree from Bangladesh, China, India, Iran, or Pakistan will have to submit a GRE (General) Test. Technical University Munich has defined required minimum scores, lower scores will not be accepted
- The required scores are:
- Quantitative reasoning: 157
- Analytical writing: 3.5
- You must also have a strong command of English.
- proof of english proficiency are required by scoring in TOFEL or IELTS.

The Technical University Munich (TUM) accepts both the Goethe Zertifikat B1 and the DSH exam as proof of German language proficiency for their programs.
