Course Curriculum
- Highly relevant, many guest lectures from big companies spoke, giving practical exposure. The university follows a 3-day model, where lectures happen for 3 days in a week (including Saturday), and the other 3 days can be utilized to gain practical experience in finance. 30-40 students in a class.
Admission Experience
- Heart of Frankfurt city, the financial capital of Europe, is what drove me to apply to this university. Great overall experience with the finance programme.
- Admission requirements: Valid GRE/GMAT scores, IELTS/TOEFL scores
- My scores: GRE - 316/340 and IELTS 8
Faculty
- 1:35. Great faculty with experience in the industry
Campus Life
- Campus is great, with many student clubs that provide access to networking opportunities as well as physical activities. Library has good resources, including the Bloomberg lab.
Part Time Jobs
- Working student positions are typically open for part-time work within Finance in many companies. TA or RA jobs as well are available within campus
Placement
- About 50%, the salary range could be from 60K to 80K. Common methods to find jobs - university job portal, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
Accommodation
- Accommodation is a problem. Frankfurt is very expensive. Rent averages typically from 600-1000 euros a month. 400-600 if you're choosing to stay outside Frankfurt.
Exams
- IELTS/TOEFL or GRE/GMAT, with an option to take the university entrance as well (Business Admissions Test)
