Admission Experience
- The highlight of my academic life thus far has been studying at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Not only any finance study, the university has exposed me to practical experiences and industry-related valuable connections as well. Since day one, I have been supported and urged to grow, not only as a specialist, but also as an individual. Of all the good that has been done by Frankfurt School, receiving the Deutschlandstipendium for two consecutive years is the most outstanding to me. This award goes to students who have performed well academically and also play a significant role in society. It's not just a financial reward but also a networking opportunity with like-minded professionals and high-achieving students in finance.
- The modules have been rigorous and the most interesting ones that I have found captivating are financial product modelling, risk management, advanced corporate valuation and investment banking. These modules have given me a better in-depth appreciation of company valuation, financial markets and risk management. Here we are not just learning theories but also practicing using real-world examples, conducting case studies and working on software such as Bloomberg and Python to solve problems. It is this practical application that is making learning fun and valuable.
- Outside the classroom, I am involved in a lot of activities that are adding to my experience. As the head of FS business games, I am leading one of the largest student competitions on the campus and interacting with students across the world at top business schools. My time at Frankfurt School has been an incredible learning experience. The combination of high-quality education, hands-on learning and well-established industry connections has provided a great platform to build a career in finance. I would strongly recommend Frankfurt School to any individual who wants an education that closely interconnects academia and opportunities in the real world.
