Course Curriculum

4

  • The difficult level, of course, is not too very difficult but not too easy; it will be manageable and if you study a real bit, it will definitely be something you will not find difficult.
  • The demand for my course is so high in the market, but there is too much competition nowadays in Germany in terms of data analysis.
  • The class schedule is that you will have two classes a week in each class you have for 4 hours and off course there are more than 70% Indian students.

Admission Experience

  • I have applied to two private universities and got shortlisted in both but here in Bsbi I paid less fees. That's why I decided to get into Bsbi. My suggestion is to first try to get into a public university, then try for IU and BSBI, which are private. Also, write a good cover letter, as that would be an important document for the visa purpose.
  • If you wanted to apply to a public university, Uniassist is a website from which you can find all the lists of colleges.
  • I was in a hurry and wanted to come to Germany fast and quick so the coordinator called me and did my application process very fast. Within two weeks, I got my enrollment letter and after I paid fees, they were like, Who am I? then I have to call and write a letter for my process so make sure you have a letter, although getting admission in this university is easy.
  • Accepted exams: IELTS minimum score is 6 Band (for visa process, you need 6), although if you don't have IELTS, the college will take an internal exam and enrol you.
  • So there are a total of three intakes: Feb - May - Oct for the visa process and everything will take 6 months; make sure to apply before that. Also, you can shift your intake by discussing with your coordinator. Factors Influenced are the course and the content of the course is in really high demand, which motivated me to apply and get enrolled here.
  • If you target the October intake, start the process in feb or March so that after enrollment it will take two to four months to get a visa.

Faculty

6

  • So yes, we can definitely interact with our teachers. If we have questions, we can go and ask with our mentors and the faculty, and the student ratio is maintained. We have enough teachers in terms of interaction with the students.
  • In terms of finding a job full-time or part-time in the field in the data analysis field, we can ask teachers but again, they will also suggest applying online as they don't have any network or they have no connections for to whom we can go and get and help

Campus Life

4

  • I think BSBI has two campuses in Germany. I didn't find such types of facilities like libraries, sports facilities and medical services. If we need library or book support, we can ask our teachers and major festivals on campus. So we have a freshmen party every 4 months.
  • Probably because we have three intakes, so that is one of the events they have and also on Christmas we have a Bollywood party night and in terms of extracurricular activities, you will not get time to play like you for extracurricular activities because of this job search and everything.

Part Time Jobs

  • I didn't think people would get teaching assistant, research assistant and department assistant positions in the college itself. Everyone is searching for part-time jobs and full-time jobs outside of the college from their connections only. Also in terms of hourly wages, the minimum as a student is getting 14 per hour and we are also allowed to work 20 hours per week. Also, we can do a mini job after a part-time job as well, which is 10 hours more. It is difficult to get a part-time job on the campus itself. But yeah, you will get it outside the campus in the restaurants, cafes or many different warehouses you can search for the jobs
  • Students can earn up to 1,100 to 1,200 euros by doing the part-time job on an early basis. And also, they can do one minijob, which is 10 hours. So from there, anyone can get around $500. So if the student is working part-time and mini to get there, they might earn around 1600. Most of the Indians prefer to work in the restaurants, bars or many different warehouses, like Amazon and Flink Warehouse, and also as delivery drivers and in the cleaning areas. You can submit applications on different websites such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Xing, or Glassdoor and Stepstone. Also, you can reach out to your connections to see if they might have your job for you; they will give it to you.

Placement

2

  • There are tons of full-time job opportunities are available but at the same time it is difficult to get a job nowadays because of the German language and the lack of skills so it is good if you have enough skills to get a job here in Germany but yes, you will get if you struggle and learn German.
  • Also, the average salary for getting a blue card is 45,000 so it is required to get a blue card after graduation, which you can ask for $45,000 after your graduation is complete. Also, in terms of placement experience, you can always apply on different platforms, which I have already mentioned in the above message and you will not get help in terms of placement from the college like we are getting in India.

Accommodation

Off Campus
8

  • You can get accommodation through the WhatsApp group. We have many different Indian groups, whoever you are connecting with. Ask him for the WhatsApp group for the accommodations they might provide you. And also, you can tell the college to give you the list of agencies that give apartments.
  • Also, you can contact me on my LinkedIn, and in terms of monthly rent, my monthly rent is 375 euros per month, 100 euros is for groceries, and apart from that, 130 euros for my insurance and 50 euros for public transport. These are basic expenses.

Exams

  • To get an admission in BSBI IELTS with band 6 and above is enough.
  • Required documents are: Statement of Purpose, LOR, CV, Blocked Account, APS Certificate,
  • Work exp Certificate and enrollment Certificate
  • If Visa officers find and issue fake documents, they might call us for an interview at VFS to clear issues. Be prepared to explain why you wanted to go and how you would manage your expenses after one year.

Fees

  • The course cost around 12,000 euros but on the website, if we pay fees in one or two go, they will give a 30% discount, which we have to pay all in one or two go in the gap for 4 months.
  • Apart from that, we can also take an installment plan, which will cost 300 euros for a one-time payment.
  • Monthly expenses: ( 750 will be total average cost, which include 400 rent for sharing + 130 Insurance + 100 groceries + 50 Transport tickets.) this is mandatory; apart from that, all depends on you.

Scholarship

  • If we paid full fees, they will give us a 30% discount, which we can consider a scholarship. That is the eligibility criteria to get a scholarship.
  • At my time they were giving up to 40% but now it decreases to 30% and other than this scholarship, there is no scholarship. If you are lucky enough, you can ask your coordinator to increase the amount of scholarship; they might help, but ask before the fee payment.
