I like the work-life balance that's why I chose Germany. The university of Siegen has a good academic program with amazing infrastructure and is built in the heart of mountains with breath taking views.
Course Curriculum
The Coursework is up to-date and top-notch with various research projects open to assist the professors.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:30 but as we go into further semesters it gets to 1 to 10 which is really good. The faculty is really helpful at the same time being really professional.
Campus Life
The international student advisor and community are super friendly, hosting several parties, city tours, and game nights here and there along with all sports and dance committees having training programs for beginners and intermediates.
Placement
There are no such on-campus placements but the professors help in getting in touch with different companies and researchers who offer internships and entry-level jobs.
Accommodation
My accommodation was given by the on-campus student housing, the waiting period after applying however was 4 months but it's a nice comfortable apartment. The cost per month is 270 euros.
Exams
- IELTS min 6.5, along with sufficient (120) credits in bachelors - In grade 10 - 9.8 cgpa; In grade 12- 87%; In bachelors - 8.4 cgpa - Requirements: I had to submit LOR, CV and SOP but these were optional, the grades were their priority while filling out their applications.
Fees
The tuition fee is free as it is a public university I just have to pay a contribution fee of 340 euros every semester and one semester is 6 months.
