What Students Say
Likes
- Extra-curricular activities offered and the open spaces on campus.
- Also, the huge library and TOS. (The Other Side- Campus Bar).
- The International environment is something I really like because of the networking opportunities.
Dislikes
- The food offered in the servery is sub-par, especially because I'm a vegetarian and the vegan options offered are not that great in my opinion. I'm also not a fan of the high tuition fees they charge.
Required Exams for Admission
I chose this college as this was a 3 year degree taught in English, and a specific course: Robotics. Overall my experience here has been great mainly because of the exposure to people from different nationalities. This has in a way helped me prepare for the real world. The academics and extracurricular activities offered are equally good.
Course Curriculum
The courses are all very theoretical. This should change in the coming years as we will have access to a machine shop which is only just being coordinated.
Faculty
I'd say the professors for RIS are in general pretty good.
Campus Life
The campus is always lively. We have a huge library, quite a few dedicated places for events, a gym, tennis and basketball court. Indoor hockey and badminton. We also have a campus wide wi-fi.
Placement
I know people have got great jobs after graduating but don't have a better picture to portray than this.
Accommodation
There are 3 different types of rooms with different pricing. Single apartment, Single room in shared bathroom and lastly, shared accommodation and bathroom between 3 people.
Exams
- My scores: IELTS:7.5, Test AS: 102/120 and 94/120. Required: IELTS and TestAS or SAT. - 10th: 84.4% CBSE - Requirements: SoP, LoRs and CV had to be submitted. I included why I wanted to study this specific course and what I would do after my graduating in this field. - Interview Round: No rounds as such, just had to upload all the required documents and wait for an acceptance letter.
