- The master's in engineering with thesis is a research master's and is intended for candidates wishing to deepen their technical and scientific knowledge in engineering and aims to initiate the student to research in order to eventually pursue the doctorate and contribute to the advancement of knowledge.
- It enables students to develop their research skills by defining and solving a research problem relevant to the program's objectives.
- The dissertation covers tutorials in the field of engineering and deals with a fundamental or applied aspect. The work carried out may be of an exploratory, analytical, descriptive or experimental nature. The dissertation is supervised by one of the professors involved in the program.
- The dissertation counts for 30 credits.
- In addition to completing their dissertation, the student is required to meet the following requirements throughout their research journey:
- The obligation to attend three internal research seminars
- The obligation to present the results of the bibliographic research and the methodology envisaged during an internal research seminar which must be done no later than 12 months after the first registration. A progress report will also be requested
- The obligation to present the results of the research during an internal research seminar once the initial deposit has been made.
