This program focuses on the acquisition of a knowledge of theater as a global phenomenon; one of the objectives is to provide the opportunity for a study and a dynamic practice of the theater mainly through the creation and its analysis, considered as the major poles of this learning. In addition, this program should allow learning techniques and modes of theatrical production and provide good knowledge of contemporary theories of Western theater in general and Quebec theater in particular.
