Dislikes
- The subjects were great, but the faculty fell short. They only read from slides, and their presentation materials on the portal were poor. So for subjects like CSR wherein you need to rely on the material uploaded on the portal there is nothing.
Due to a gap of over 13 years, my options were limited, and among them, I found this program to be the most suitable though I was more keen on Saskatchewan Polytechnic. I got the offer letter after I paid the fees to Fleming College.
Course Curriculum
The subjects are really good but the faculty fell short. No industrial experience and many students were just using ChatGPT and completing assignments as the college could not track plagiarism from ChatGPT.
Faculty
Overall, the faculty on campus is average and not well-trained. The only standout professors I encountered were Albert Mastromartino and Wendy Thompson.
Campus Life
Parties are organized, but the college lacks a good library with up-to-date books. Additionally, you will be required to purchase books costing between 250 and 300 CAD.
Placement
I have just completed my program and looking for full time job opportunities.
Accommodation
575 CAD for a twin sharing room including all facilities. Many houses in Peterborough are in poor condition due to more occupants than legally allowed.
Exams
- My IELTS score was 7.5 overall. Requirements vary from program to program. - 10th - 69%; 12th - 50%; Bachelors from Sardar Patel University - 60%; MBA - 68% - Requirements: Yes, SoP plays an important role and since I was experienced I submitted my resume and offer letters.
