The one particular reason for choosing this University is because it has a tie-up program with a college in India in Chandigarh. Through this program, I was able to complete two years of my Canadian education in India with the same curriculum as Canada. My overall experience at this University has been amazing. I really recommend this University as there are so many things you can find in here. I chose this particular program as it was of my interest and I was able to complete the first two years in India.

Course Curriculum

8

The course curriculum is according to the latest trends and topics in the industry. There is a research program for students who want to participate in it.

Faculty

9

There are many professors here. Some professors like Kevin, Ajay Dhruv and Nisha have left an incredible impact on me. These professors are well-versed and know about their subjects a lot. They are really good and friendly with the students.

Campus Life

7

There are numerous clubs at TRU, there's the club of every community here. There are some events happening at TRU every week. The library is really good and spacious; best place to study.

Placement

6

The University does a little help in placements but not much like India. Students have to do research on their own about companies and hiring positions.

Accommodation

Off Campus
8

It depends on what you prefer. I prefer living off-campus, where I am paying almost $610 per month for sharing room. The private rooms cost around $700, it also depends on the area you are looking for to live in.

Exams

- My scores : IELTS : 7.5/9 Required : 6.5/9. Only this language test was required. - CBSE (10th) : 92%; PSEB (12th with Medical + Mathematics) : 97% - Requirements: Yes, I had to submit my SoP. I didn't have to do any interviews for the admission. There were particular criteria to get enrolled here. It required certain marks in grade 12th to get admission here.

Fees

It's almost around $2000 for one course for my program. I had to complete 40 courses. So, its almost around $80,000 for the whole program. But I did my first two years in India, where my one-year fee was around 4 lakhs.
