- When I was in India back in 2019, I got an admission in a dental College to do my BTS. But since I wanted to study abroad, I chose dental business assistant to do anything related dentistry. So it was the only college in Calgary that was offering dental business assistant. Also Calgary is a very well economically stable city of Canada, less crowded and also less competition.
- It is a multicultural government community college with an abundant variety of courses were provided. Also every mentor help in any communication barrier. They have many programmes that allows students to build their own career in their respective fields.
Dislikes
- In general, there was nothing that I don’t like about my college but the international tuition fees is very high as it is like four times as compare to domestic student. But overall my experience was really good. I learnt a lot and however I am doing the job that I learnt in my college as a dental administrator. Also, I look forward to work in criminology feel that I studied here as well, which was just a study law enforcement
My experience was really good. As I mentioned above. I was just 18 years old when I came to Canada and this college welcome me with open arms as everybody was so helpful college staff students graduated students every one kind of help to us in this long journey I like this college this much that I invited my brother as well to study in this college and make his future as well.
Course Curriculum
Every thing is well updated as I got to know about Attiq software care cry software recall Mac software in dental business assistant course which I am using currently at my job and which which has been helping me so much in my job duties.
Exams
Every course have different requirements but when I got admission in this college, it was required that I have to have the Isles score of 6.5 overall and 75% in my matriculation also a 50% in mathematics in 10th and 12th class. In my first course that was dental business assistant I scored 3.2 GPA and in my second course that was Justice studies specialised in law enforcement, I scored 3.5 GPA. When I applied my visa, I needed to submit an SOP to prove that I will be back when I am done with my studies and to show the family ties. Also I mentioned why I wanted to study in Canada for example, vast cultural difference independence, no quota system, education about international system, how it works etc in my SOP so that it shows my interest to study in Canada.
Placement
People who are starting from this college can easily make $50,000 to $100000 per Annum. I believe this is the second best college in Calgary as SAIT has a good name as well, but then the name comes that I have studied from bow Valley College leaves a no mark as well.
Fees
For dental business assistant program it was $16,000 and for Justice study specialized in law enforcement diploma was $24,000.
Faculty
My college is in just middle of the downtown which is connected by four lines of transit. North west, north east, South west and south-east student from everywhere can come who ever lives in Calgary at same amount of travel time as I was living in north is I just had to travel for 40 minutes to reach to my destination I like to talk about my mentor who was the son of criminology Scott Mark he did a tremendous job as he put the cases practical, and we could learn law from him differently. Bhowali colleges, Well staffed has three canteens.
Campus Life
It is a cultural friendly college as it celebrates every festival, which was Diwali because majority of students are Indian even the professors and the president doesn’t know about Diwali but they still celebrated as it is a big deal for Indian students. There is to create the alumni parties so that every person who studied here can show and celebrate their career with the young upcoming generation.
Hostel
I did not live at the college as I rent in my own apartment.
