The overall experience has been amazing. As the class size is smaller, we were able to forge personal relationships with our faculty and others in the cohort. The class is more like a small family. I have been fortunate to have made great friends on the campus. I wish the placement and Career cells of the college were more active.

Course Curriculum

10

As it is a thesis based course, a lot of help is provided by the University in terms of research. We are also provided with an option of taking electives, related- or otherwise unrelated to our course.

Faculty

8

As mentioned previously, the class size is extremely small for graduates students ranging from 4-15. It is easy for the faculty to personally keep a check upon the progress of each student.

Campus Life

10

The campus life is truly amazing. The campus is spread over ridges, parks and protected gardens. One feels very close to the nature. The campus offers premium services of gymnasium, other sports at cheaper rates. Part of the yearly fee.

Placement

3

I would say that research opportunities post graduation are great. Students can apply for many research grants. Not many law firms, or companies visit the campus.

Accommodation

Off Campus
6

Not many students are able to get University accommodation and have to eventually look for it themselves, which is a huge task. The cost of living is higher than most Canadian cities.

Exams

Both SOP and LOR's (2 minimum) are required. I would recommend students to prepare for the admission cycle- 13 months in advance before the start of the course.

Fees

7000 Canadian Dollars/year.

Scholarship

Yes. Based on previous experience, research or publication, scholarships are automatically provided to applicants.

Examination Structure

The University requires applicants to provide with a detailed statement of purpose and a strong research proposal. It is primarily on these two grounds that the admission committee decides upon the fate of applications. I would suggest that students work on it very nicely. Any prior academic experience, or research would be an added advantage. Fresh law graduates don't have much of a chance considering the exponential number of applications- and less than 5% intake.
