The students can opt to study the first 2 years of Pre-Med at either MAHE (Manipal Academy of Higher Education), Manipal, India or at AUA College of Arts and Sciences (AUACAS), Antigua. This is followed by 2.5 years of Pre-Clinical Sciences at AUA, Antigua and then 2 years of clinical rotations at AUA affiliated hospitals spread across the USA/UK & Canada.

Manipal’s American University of Antigua Admissions
The university takes a holistic approach towards admission of students with a potential of pursuing medical degree. The university is consistently expanding its network of affiliated hospitals with nearly 35+ affiliated at present. Indian applicants to the pre-medical program must have passed India’s 10+2, UK A-Level/IB, US 12th grade, or equivalent exam. Indian applicants do not need to submit MCAT or NEET scores, but on a case-by-case basis may be asked to submit TOEFL or IELTS score reports.

Manipal’s American University of Antigua Scholarships
AUA provides a limited number of scholarships and/or grants which are awarded to high-achieving entering students, and are generally based on an applicant’s undergraduate GPA. Eligible Indian origin students qualifying for scholarships in Manipal’s American University of Antigua can avail up to 96,500 USD through scholarships. All students need to be enrolled in the university to be eligible for any scholarship. However, all scholarship applications should be submitted prior to the enrollment.
