- I chose the University of Texas at Arlington because of its financial aid.
My college experience is good. I do not interact with the people mainly, but my academics are going well.
Course Curriculum
My course curriculum is accurate and useful. The syllabus is updated well, and the classes give me good information. However, I don't receive any research experience yet.
Exams
I have taken only the ACT test during high school in 2021, and my total score was a 31. I did not have to submit any interview or documents. I also did not have to submit the SOP, LORs, or CV. I did not have an interview, but the university required me to pass the TSI assessment.
Placement
The university provides multiple fairs on campus to show research and study opportunities, and they have a lot of people interested. Some are unpaid, and some are paid around $12-17 per hour.
Fees
My tuition is around $12000 per year, which is all covered by my scholarship.
Scholarship
Maverick Academic Scholarship ($12000/year).
Faculty
For my major, the faculty to student ratio is good. The classes are small, specifically around 10-20 students per class. However, the ratio changed based on major.
Campus Life
The campus life, infrastructure events, and extracurriculars are diverse. Additionally, students can use parts of the facility well for studying. The WiFi is slow, though, because there are many people using it at once.
Hostel
I live with my family since I have members living in multiple countries, so I do not need to pay for any accommodation.
