What Students Say?
Likes
- The scholarship, vibes were good and I had a good feel. Trust your gut.
I thought it was a great time. I made a lot of quality friends and gained a lot of work experience. You learn a TON more outside the classroom and I would encourage everyone to go out and do stuff.
Course Curriculum
It is pretty updated. Most info can be found on chegg/quizlet too.
Exams
1350 SAT and 100 TOEFL but it doesn’t really matter. There was a math into exam when I applied and that guarantees what your first math class would be. I did not have any in person interviews. I just spoke with the admissions team a few times to talk about life in Lincoln before I decided to pay the enrollment deposit.
Placement
Really what you make out of it. The job fair helped me out a lot and I got a lot of exposure. Managed to find an internship pretty much every summer and built my resume.
Internship
I co-oped at Altec Industries for the spring of 2021 and interned at Parker Hannifin for the summer of 2022.
Fees
After the scholarships it’s around $7k/sem.
Scholarship
I got the global laureate scholarship that is around $14,000/year. Also when you’re in school you can apply for some honors scholarships and those are small but can cover textbook costs, iPads etc.
Faculty
This is a research institution so the faculty is more research focused, you might find some professors that care about you though.
Campus Life
I was a part of Greek life, I joint Kappa Delta sorority and it was a great time.
Hostel
I lived in the dorms, and then an apartment and then my sorority house.
