What Students Say?

- Best college I got into that offered me good funding. I actually wanted to go to University of Colorado-Boulder due to having a stronger physics department but I did not know they gave me funding due to a miscommunication.
I made great lifelong friends, had mostly brilliant professors and learnt a lot. The only criticism I have is I was not able to conduct research despite trying very hard.
Course Curriculum
I was not given research experience despite trying very hard to get some. My courses were very relevant and updated mostly but had to take way too many liberal arts courses.
Exams
My scores: SAT 1910/2400, GRE was also taken for graduate school but not Case Western Reserve University. 2 LOR, 1 SOP, I do not totally remember what I wrote in SOP so please forgive but I did mention I wanted to win a nobel prize or something.
Placement
The average salary is $80000 at most big companies and universities including MIT, Caltech, Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc.
Internship
Amplifyworks(small startup in Kolkata, India with simple application process) paying me 10000 rupees a month.
Fees
$50000 before aid per year but I paid like only $4000 per year and have $45000 in loans upon graduation.
Scholarship
I got the CWRU Grant which was just given to students who had outstanding high school performance and the Junior-Senior Scholarship given to STEM majors who maintained 3.0 GPA.
Faculty
Harsh Mathur, Robert Brown, Charles Rosenblatt and Kathleen Kash were excellent physics professors and knew me well. Mariana Carrera and Jenny Hawkins were my economics professors. Most professors were highly competent and approachable.
Campus Life
There is a ridiculous amount of facilities, infrastructure and campus life is also fun. You can only understand if you joined.
Hostel
I paid like $3000 a semester on average for dorms.
