Remarks

College's are very good in moulding our life to a purposeful life. In my view point there are also various pros and cons to our institute. One of which I felt was with the tutors. Qualified tutors may be present now but in our time there was not much. It makes very hard for us to learn properly it is very challenging for us .

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course cums under Kerala University of health and science. 4 year Professional course.Yearly exam. Curriculum prepared by University. College gives us appropriate training according to structure by proper exposure to practicAl environment s and theory classes.

Placement Experience

3

Job opportunities are vast. Internship is not there. But there is opportunity to work under college linked hospital. College linked hospital is highly qualified. By gaining 1 year experience there is an opportunity to get paid well.

College Events

3.5

Annual Sports and Arts Meeting, Christmas celebration, Onam Celebration, Vishu Celebration, Nutrition Fest, Community awareness classes, Road shows, Workshop, Health Education, Tour, Annual Day, Independence day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees per annual basis according to the government implemented criteria for eligible students and annual fees as prescribed by management for other admission.Annual fees varies per year but other fees are the same which include caution deposit, uniform fee, book fee, library fee, practical fee. For commoners like me depend on education loan provided by our respective banks.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Education loan provided from our banks. They provide a more than half of what we want. But after completing the course, individual has to start paying it from their salary. It's very essential. From a period of 6- 10 years ilaverage individual can pay that amount.

Campus Life

4

Extra curricular activities are on the minimal side compared to other colleges since it is a professional course. Annual arts and sports are conducted but it's individual s own responsibility to be prepared for it.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Boys have to opt for private hostels. They may cost starting from 5000INR which include food also. Girls have college hostels which are nearby. College provided hostels are costly they start from 8000INR.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not so strong in our institute but not weak too.Our institute is also not so enthusiastic towards it. But we people keep contact between each other and build our self.Alumni groups are very resource ful in my view point.

Admission

I was selected by government allotment. I approached college and they give us every details regarding admission and 4 year course. I really liked the college and course so after completing all the formalities I got in.

Faculty

3

Various categories ranging from begginers to highly trained experienced one's. But in our time we didn't get enough experienced staff to train us properly. Still there is staff who cannot train us properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum contains a vast area of nursing aspects and they include OSKI as a new component of the nursing curriculum which prepares as well enough to face the job interviews ahead. But the time limit is so short that we find it difficult to complete the syllabus on time. As the syallabus has changed to semester system we are expected to write exams more frequently but that is good as it helps as to improve our writing skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum planned in a tight schedule. The syllabus of a semester is planned for six months and the subject are divided according to the semester system but the exam schedule that is planned give us more stress. The college is conducting two unit test two sessionals and a model exam along with this quiz presentation are all coming which are taken for our internal mark. The time gap between the exams is another problem which we faced during our academics. The theory session along with all exams is conducted during the first periods of the semester and then we are going to the clinical posting after that we are unable to remember the portions against . This is a cause that affects the academic performance. The time gap for completing requirements is also another problem. The curriculum helps the child to adjust the time and improve the skill in procedures. Relevant skills are included in this curriculum. The subject like forensic science health informatics are also helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the Kerala University of Health Sciences. Actually it is pretty good compared to other universities in India. The benefit is that we study about many things which are not that much relevant to the 'Medical Laboratory Tech' title, so that we become equipped for higher studies and research opportunities. But the negative part is ofcourse the difficulty level, but if we work hard enough,we can make it out.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of my interests only no one forced me to choose my parents are my back support they supported my decision when I said them I wanted to be a nurse they found me a best college for my education and now i am here to study the 4-year course bsc nursing it is great to work and study here the best i like about this course is the clinics for me i very much like to work as a nurse rather than studying the only thing i hate is the theory class and its exams i never like it because the frustration iam suffering while studying some subjects doesn't stay on my head because very tough to under And study There is no issue with the teaching method but I always like to think about only practices and working without theory which is not possible because a theory has the same importance like the practical so we study as much as possible we can and achieve with great marks

Placement Experience:

The main attraction is the campus placements is 100%. As we are studying under the Aster groups, the placements are majority by them, so the placements are sure. The minimum package is 20,000 per month and it will increase as per the post.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it have a 100% job chance and also it's a medical profession,so it's scope doesn't lose Curriculum is relevant and it's really helpful for our real world applications and as we know it have a more practical approach than theoretical because it's a nursing profession. Course curriculum is very hard like we have a lot of assignments for writing,we get mentally ill after this course, we got no time for mental relaxation I feel like drop the course Teaching methods used in college are ppt presentation and real approaches because it's a nursing profession Theory class we get completed in 2 mouths , the whole syllabus will get completed like a bullet train and the next 3 mouth gonna be practical/clinical study Even in clinics the hardest is assignments, around 450 pages in clinics and 150 pages in theory Overall 600 page assignment is written in one semester Two Internal Exams are conducted within 2 months

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course mainly because of the job opportunities. There is plenty of teaching and non-teaching staff in the college. All the teaching staff has Mastered nursing and all are very talented teachers. The teaching method is lecturing and av aids are also used by the teachers like projectors. The exams are conducted after the completion of each unit. It's an average tough exam to score good marks. The only problem is that exams will be conducted daily and the personal behavior of some staff may vary from person to person.
