What Students Say
Likes
- I wanted to make a switch from science to management. The course has lecturers who work out in the industry bringing a lot of insight and experience practical experiences to their classes. There max 30 students in a class , I appreciated that.
- Faculty works in the industry hence interactive classes Networking opportunities Helpful and supportive program management even for personal issues The university organises two networking parties per year Recommendations for available jobs and upcoming networking events in the city
Dislikes
- More support for foreign students needed More support of queer students needed Everything else is already pretty great and even if there isn’t a general rule but you need some help the management always tries to make it happen and accommodate everyone
Lots of growth and betterment opportunities. Various skills range from how to communicate and present yourself to how to find your own company. A very international crowd of both faculty and students, giving you opportunities to learn about different cultures, languages and food. where you find current students, alumni, and faculty. All in all, if definitely recommend it
Course Curriculum
The course structure is designed for people who want to start business management from ground 0. It offers a lot of practical experiences as well as networking opportunities. Both the program managers and lecturers are very invested in their students. The subjects in both semesters cover almost every aspect of business and management including entrepreneurship, pitch presentations, etc.
Faculty
Max 30 students per faculty allowed. All the faculty work in the industry and teach the course as part time lecturers. Because if this combination they’re highly well versed and every single one of them including the course management is very approachable and helpful.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs, activities, and events going on throughout the semester for all kinds of people and communities. There’s an office for immigrants plus sports of various kinds are available to all students for minimal fee.
Placement
They have connections with the biggest pharmacy companies as well as research organisations. Eg. Sanofi, Merck, Siemens, Robert Koch Institute etc
Accommodation
All these things the university can help with but ultimately it’s the student's responsibility to find what suits them best. Avg cost of living for a student in Germany is €800-1200, depending on your personal expenses. Rent ranges from €350-600 per month.
Exams
-The only requirement is a background in Life Science. Work ex is appreciated not mandatory.. All 3- SoPs, LoRs and CV were submitted. -Interview round: I had no rounds. The course just needs you to have some sort of educational and work background in any branch of Life Science. My advice is be authentic in your SoP.
Fees
Tuition fee: €16000 for the entire course. If you’re unable to finish in time (1.5 years), next semester is free, and after that, every semester is €1500
