- It also examines how criminal justice is shaped by larger social, political and technological contexts, and how those contexts are translated into practice in agencies such as the police, courts, corrections, the juvenile system, and various social and government service agencies.
- The program explores and critically analyzes criminological and sociological theories of why people commit a crime. It also examines how societies define crime and who is considered a criminal.

Hello, I am from India, and I want to apply for the 2024 intake in the law program with 73% in 12th and 3-year bachelor of commerce.
Ontario Tech's Legal Studies program typically requires a minimum average of 75% in your senior high school and the first three years of undergraduate studies (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce). While your 73% in 12th and BCom might fall slightly below this.
To get admission in the undergraduate Law programs of Ontario Tech University, you must have completed secondary school with at least 70% marks from a recognized institute. With 62% marks, you will not be able to meet the cut-off.
