They have the program I want which is the appraisal and assessment program. It's also a smaller based campus which I like. I like the smaller based campus because then you have more of a one on one relationship with all of the professors and personally I find it easier to meet people. I also knew people who had gone to college and have heard good things but about it.
Course Curriculum
It's fantastic and very interesting yet it keeps you on your toes.
Faculty
They're awesome. They all work to create a 1 on 1 relationship with each and every person in the classroom. and they all genuinely care about everybody.
Placement
For my program, it's excellent. One of the professors in my program is actually and assessor himself so he has many contacts to help us students get involved with people working within the community.
Accommodation
Last year I lived off-campus, and it was a little inconvenient but that place as compared to my place in residence this year was MUCH better. the residence here is VERY run down and they charge way too much for the places they rent out. and they claim to have services to students that they actually do not supply.
Exams
Originally I hadn't any clue what I wanted to do, but when I came to Lakeland for the open house and talked to one of my professors and he convinced me. I also went into this program because I worked in the summer for the MD of Bonnyville with tax assessors and really enjoyed it, and they opened my eyes into the many different career paths I can take.
Fees
I have no clue. I'm not international so that does not concern me personally. But as far as I know directly through the school they do not have scholarships for international students only domestic ones, which I don't think is a bad thing. But I do know that the government of Alberta does for those international students.
Scholarship
I have only applied for a scholarship from my town and the rutherford scholarship through the government.
