Sociology is the study of societies and the way they shape people’s attitudes, actions, identities, and institutions. Sociology helps us to make sense of the rapidly changing world in which we live. At the same time, it helps us to know ourselves in new and exciting ways. By studying sociology, students will acquire an increased understanding of human interactions and the ability to interpret social events.
