Webster University Journalism Programs

Majoring in Journalism at Webster will immerse you in the world of communications, starting your first day. Our program emphasizes mentorship and firsthand experience working on news stories, podcasts and newscasts. Beginning your first semester, you will be enrolled in the News Collaboratory, where you will work with and learn from students who are in their third and fourth years of a Journalism major. You will also write news stories on campus issues and events, help produce podcasts and newscasts, and will assist juniors and seniors with in-depth reporting projects as preparation for multiple internships.
