Course curriculum and notes are provided by SOL

Dislikes

Exam centres are not fixed sometimes you will get centers very far.
No subject marks are mentioned in marksheet only performance like outstanding etc are mentioned

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I want to pursue my career in account field. It prepares well for real world applications like I'm doing internship under CA and many subjects I had studied are helping me Improvement should be done in subject like they give them series like A,B etc which confuses many including me. Exams are held after 4-5 months of commencement of semester with gap of 2-3 days between each exams.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 12500 per year

Placement Experience

College do provide placement but it is not satisfactory and the package is not that good. My plans after getting degree is to get into finance fields or if possible I will do my master in Mcom or to work under CA .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is variable for each year I had paid 4050 in first year 3975 in second year and 4500 in my final year that is third year. I have no idea about tuition fees in open learning. Various scholarships schemes like AIPGS ,UPGS , DSE merit etc are there

Campus Life

As SOLDU Is not regular that's why I don't have any experience about campus life but during exams you can meet with many different students and share yours experience about SOLDU with them. About events you can get that information from SOLDU website as far I know they don't do any events for SOLDU

Admission

I didn't applied for any other colleges so that's why I have no idea of other colleges. Fill the SOLDU form on their website no percentage criteria in SOLDU only 12th pass is enough No exams are done for admission in SOLDU but if you want to enroll in regular college then CUET is best option

Faculty

Faculty members are very skilled in their domain and has good knowledge of their subjects. Exams are held only once in each semester with 4 subject. Difficulty level is average. Out of 100% atleast 7-10% fails the exam. Yes the curriculum is relevant in future also like accounts, income tax etc

Night Life

As most of the colleges of DU and SOLDU are in Delhi therefore you can explore many places there and can spend good time there. I don't have any knowledge of hostel but yes many pgs are there for students

Comprehensive review of PGDAV College

Placement Experience:

From second year itself students are eligible for campus placement some of the companies that visited our college was EY, Zomato, Ferns and Petals, and many more. Highest package was approx 8lpa in dala analysis I guess 80% of the students got placed

Placement Experience:

Placements are for final year students and before that students can do internships provided by the placement cell. Various companies have visited in the campus like zomato,all big4s, etc. The average package is 3.5LPA. Almost 20-30% of students get placed. Right now i am planning to do MBA

DU college is best for all

Placement Experience:

The placement of student is not compulsory but some students will get but not all. The income for their work in other companies is starts from 25thousand to 30 thousand. After degree I'll prepare for any government job.

Placement Experience:

Placements percentage is certainly low but companies that have started coming to our campus includes Flipkart, Deloitte and others. On and average what Kalindi students of our course were offered was around 7-7.5 lakhs a year.

I like the college life!!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my particular course that is BCom (hons) it does not provides any choice for the AEC cource in 2nd and 3rd sem, student have to select hindi which is not good at all. Every sem is of approx 4 months, so the frequency of exams is after every 4 months and one has to clear 7 papers in order to pass the sem exam.
