Why to join VIT Bhopal over others!

Unlike other universities, the curriculum here is much updated and know the requirement of modern jobs very well. There are flip classes here, which offers students to learn and interact with other students at the same time. Frequency of exams are accurate and do not make a burden on students.

There are many internship opportunities available in our college. Students from 2nd year having great skills can apply for the internship and may be appointed to work with a very good amount of money. Companies like TCS, Infosys, cognizant offer internship opportunities to the students.

Campus placements here are far better than other private colleges. From 3rd year students are applicable to give exams for the company recruitment and many confirm their placement in their 3rd year only. Some of the companies that visit here are Cognizant, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Mahindra and Mahindra etc. Highest placement here is of 55 LPA and average package is 5-6 LPA. There is a very high percentage of students getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to grab a good package and earn great to fund my higher studies in then future.

The yearly fees structure of our college is ?198000 for category 1 students and hostel and mess fees are around ?150000. So the total fees will be around ?350000. There are some additional caution fees we are required to pay for the first year only i.e. ?3000 (refundable), hostel addmission fees ?15000, hostel caution deposit ?15000. For the category 2 students, the tution fees is ?307000. For category 3 it's ?405000. For category 4 it's ?448000. For last category 5 it's ?493000. Other than all these fees, there are no hidden charges in the admission process and the process will be very smooth. The fact that the yearly fees does not increase and remains constant.

The yearly fest here is known as adVITya which is held in February and there are many sports fest like aarambh. The library here contains books from almost all variety like subject books, novels, autobiography, comics and has all the famous books. There are many active clubs lead by the seniors and faculty which organises many cultural and technical events.

Hostel facility here is awesome and offers freedom to enjoy best years of our lives. There is daily cleaning of our rooms. Meal quality is good here and there is a lot of variety of foods which are changed every month, and the nutrition value of food is very well managed. The registration process of hostel is held online and the rooms are allocated on the onboarding day.

I applied and got confirmed addmission in colleges like KIIT , Manipal University but preferred my admission in this college rather than these colleges is because of the much less college fees and very high placement opportunities and a great infrastructure along with more than 55 active Technical and non technical clubs. I got rejected from college like IIIT Hyderabad as I cannot made through the interview round. The admission in this college is through VITEEE rank and students from all ranks can apply here for any course. The councelling here is purely online and has a very user friendly interface.

The faculty to student ratio is very good here. The faculty are very helpful and are always approachable to their respective cabins. Faculty like Dr. Dipankar Sutradhar, Dr. Deep Chandra Upadhyay are very friendly and makes the studies a lot easier. There are two exams in a semester i.e. Mid-term and Term-end. The level of difficulty varies from shift to shift of exams, some shifts are easier as compared to others. But if we have the subject knowledge, we can easily score good grades in the exams. But as always there are some students who fails to clear the Exams due to not studying properly and skipping their classes, but they are given last chance to reattempt the exam, and if they fail the last attempt too, they have to re register that subject in the upcoming semesters. The course curriculum is very relevant, as they focuses on teaching industrial topics which will help the students to grab awesome placements in the future.

The life here in campus is very cool and joyful. Students hang out in the cafeteria (Mayuri, Underbelly), lion garden and we play many games in the hostel. Daily cricket, football, basketball, table tennis and badminton are played by the students. Hostel in timings are 9:00 PM.
