Remarks

College management was good. They provide all the necessary informations.

Entrance Preview

As per my marks I can take admission only in Rajdhani College or in this College. In Rajdhani College I am getting Computer science honours where as here i take admission in B.Sc. Applied Physical Science whose name is changed to B.Sc. Mathematical sciences. I consulted few people they all told me to go for this College because this College is much better than The with respect to studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I personally believe that my cousre curriculum is best for job opportunities. You can directly get as job for business analyst or data analyst after doing this course. This is not a simple graduation where you got nothing after graduation. If you study well you are as good as B.B.A or B.B.E students.

Placement Experience

2.5

There is a placement cell but that is not for our course only. Usually b.p.o companies come for placement during my time whereas now the scenario is totally different. At my time Wipro and IBM also come for placement. But for B.B.A there is a strong placement cell.

College Events

5

Our cultural festival is "Kalrav" which is organised yearly. Whereas we have multiple society. We have "Optizone" a society made by my juniors in O.R. Optizone conduct annual seminars and conferences as well as departmental fest. Same we have Sanganika in Computer science, zest in English and many others. Also we have multiple societies like yavanika the dramatic society which produces an annual stage show and multiple street plays.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As this College is completely funded by Delhi government the fee is very cheap with respect to all other colleges of Delhi University. At my time only computer science honours student fee is expensive. That course is self financed. All other courses are cheap.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they offer few scholarship facilities in which they return the tuition fee of the students. Whereas you can also avail scholarship from different central and Delhi government programs through this College.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was great atleast for me it was one of my best days as a student. We have cricket team, dramatic society, baseball team, choreography society and so many other extra curricular activities to choose. In studies in physics multiple research are going on at my time in which we can participate. We also have a robotic lab a paradise to learn about computer languages. I was personally found of electronic and robotic lab. Gender ration was good. We have nearby Addas to have fun.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

We don't have hostel at my time. But students from outside Delhi get P.G. In karampura, moti nagar and other nearby localities. Whereas I get to know that our new campus in Dwarka do have hostel facility.

Alumni/Alumna

Well I am not that kind of student who usually interact with seniors. Well I am in touch with most of my classmate and juniors. We don't have any alumni meet. Whereas dramatic society conduct yearly convocation in which they call all the seniors.

Exam Structure

In my days the exam structure is annual. But after the next batch it shifts to semesters. Now you have 2 semester in a year. If you get back in any of your subject in first semester you cannot appear for that in second semester. You only get your chance next year with the junior when you are in semester 3. Same goes with each semester.

Admission

I fill the D.U. centralized form for graduation. Got selected in the second merit list. Then documents verification and all.

Faculty

3

I personally found of my faculty they are extremely helpful to me. I remember my O.R. teacher Veena mam because of her I am doing PhD in O.R. As I don't like mathematics in graduation days I remember Pant sir who always encouraged me to do well in mathematics and teach it in muslim madarsas. I received lot of respect from computer teachers in class room as well as in labs.

Placement Experience:

We become eligible for placements in our third year (so the fifth semester). We can sit for internships before that. Many prestigious companies visit our campus, including McKinsey, HUL, BCG, BlackStone, BlackRock etc. The highest package offered in DU history is from our college (and my course!) which was 48.9 lakh p/a by BlackStone to a student in Batch of 2024. The average package is 10.5 lakh p/a. There were 215 final placement offers. My plans after the degree are to enter the world of finance or consulting, hopefully. I am also open to higher studies or an MBA. Maths H keeps a lot of doors open.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship in the first year or the second year itself, and for the placement, the student can sit in the third year onwards. Students are eligible to sit for placement after having a significantly higher attendance, good score and a great practical resume. as far as I have observed, most of the job offers are around 4 to 5 LPA. There are a number of companies that hire from the college and the students can also apply off campus if they have a good CV. Many small and big companies higher from here, for example ferns and petals, Deloitte, bookMyShow, accenture and many more. The highest, and the lowest packages have not been disclosed clearly, and the percentage of students has also not been declared clearly. As far as I know the placement rate is pretty decent If the person has a good resume, which can be anything around 70 to 80%. My plans after getting the degree are not crystal clear to me, but I plan on doing masters in the same field from a good university, maybe abroad and then make a career ahead. Meanwhile, I also plan on doing several internships to build my resume and learning both hard and soft skills.

The course you and college you get is totally dependant upon your CUET score. If you score well you will get a very good college with your preferred course, which makes your upcoming 3/4 yrs golden. There is no need of improvement in teaching but yet the course demands few changes to make it more flexible for students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like this course as it's a multidisciplinary course that opens a wide variety of fields for me to pursue and choose my interest.I choose these course on the suggestion of my senior and some google searches. I believe while our curriculum provides a strong base for botany, zoology and chemistry there are areas too where it can be improved: Strengths: 1.Solid theoretical foundation. 2.Laboratories experience 3.Research opportunities Areas for Improvement: 1.More integration of interdisciplinary subjects 2.More empathy on practical skills rather than theoretical 3.Make better suited for industries Teaching methods can be improved by Active learning approach and Real world case studies In this course u will have internal exams before every sem and 2 sem exams every year and its not that much difficult
