Likes

University social life is quite good. Students get enough clubs and activities to explore their interests and enhance their skills.
Commendable infrastructure. Proper classrooms has been designed with most of the facilities like charger plugs on each desk

Dislikes

Some Faculties are not that interested to teach students
75% attendance criteria is followed.Students below it are detained

Course Curriculum Overview

In the Artificial intelligence branch. The course plan is nicely designed. The curriculum moves from easy to difficult every semester. Python, HTML, Ai introductions are taught in the early semester whereas some backends like Django, high-level maths subjects, and DSA are taught in the 4th -5th semester

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Infosys, microsoft, TCS offer interships to the students with a stipend of 15000 per month on an average. Mostly startups offers interships to the students with roles of web development, full stack and data entry operator.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible to take part in placement drive from 5th semester. In 2024 placement drive approx 100companies have visited in case domain with offering of 6lakhs as average package. The highest package till today in 2024 is 16lakhs approx and minimum is around 4lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees is on a higher side for artificial intelligence 125000 rupees for each semester which concluded to 10lakhs for 8semesters.With some more charges in between curriculum it goes upto 11lakhs

Campus Life

There are a lot of clubs available in chitkara University like dhvani, modeling,bhangra etc . Students get surplus opportunities to explore their talents and develop social skills.NCC , NSS are also available for students

Admission

The eligibility of the course is that the student must be +2 passed from any reputed board and has attempted jee mains. The application forms are available on Chitkara official site with an application fees of 2100rupees. The cutoff for the AI branch is around 87% in class 12th

Faculty

Every faculty of my branch is phd qualified.Some faculties like to teach with enthusiasm and provide their best to deliver the lectures whereas some just come and go.The faculty to student ratio is good for every branch approx 2 professors are available for 3 groups .

Placement Experience:

Placements are about 85%. Students are eligible from 6th semester . But sometimes in 5th semester some students got intership from big companies like microsoft , google . Highest package till is 450000 and average package is about 800000. Companies comes till 8th semester . If i get the job then i will do it and try to fulfill my dream of opening a software based company .

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the stude ts are become eligible for intership only if and only if their cgpa is above 8 or 8. Ibm infosys,quark, Adobe ,sapient, quick heal. No. Of offers are not available in the site. Highest is 60 lakh and lowest is 2 lakhs. Percentage of student ts getting placed are 60 percent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is good . It combimes theorys with praciticals projects and internships. There are rooms for students to improve their soft skills. Exams are not soo difficult, student mange to pass the exams.

From 6th sem students actual placements critieria started . Elitmus etc. type of exams started but intership in big companies like microsoft , google come in 5 th sem. But they choose only 1 person . Many companies visited in this university with average package of 7-8 lakhs . Mostly 80% students get placed. Highest package till is 45 lakhs . If i get placed then ok going with them but if not places then i will go abroad

at final year the student is eligible for placement. for placement also this college trained you well. highest package is 3 crores per annum and average package is 6 LPA... some companies choose the persons they should have above 7.5 CGPA and some are choose above 6.5 CGPA like that...

I personally give 4 star to this course for the relevance and I have interest in computer science so I liked it most. If you prepare your self in a good way then this course will definitely help you to achieve goals. The exam timing is 3hrs and it is intermediate level not hard

Placement Experience:

As of now I don't know much about the placement scene but according to the seniors it's decent as this year's batch as I have listened that out of two thousand students twelve hundred have been placed.

I tried in AKG College , Ghaziabad and Thapar College , Patiala . But i choose this college because i didn't get computer science in these colleges . Also their fees are very high than our chitkara university . Moreover chitkara have good name in placements and infrastructure is far better than other colleges . we have a big canteen square one which have almost every type of food .
