Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Our curriculum is filled with many daily to daily activities. These activities are group involving. These are activities like poster making, Demonstration of act to convey a message to students and society, Nukkad Nataks, Presentation of PPT and many others. Activities involving groups enable one to participate in group and this increases rapport among the students, increases the awareness, build the confidence in students, and increase their knowledge. Participation in such activities are essential to build all the good qualities of a speaker, a leader and a coordinator.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually, I feel the fees is a bit high as compared to the availabilities we get on a daily basis. We have no access to Inductions, boilers pr refrigerator. We also do not have any availability of basis essential available at this prize. Even we have to pay our electricity bills apart from the hostel and college fees every year. We are charged fine at even very basic lack of discipline like reaching hostel late.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus life is not so fun. There is not much to do around here. There has not been any Fest since a year or two. Occasionally the events can take place on days of festives like Ram Navami, Shivratri etc. Talking about the library, there is accessibility of newspapers and journals. All the books of the MBBS with latest edition are available there. The class is held by teaching on through PPT which is shown by projector on the screen. The PPTs are made my faculty members. Sports involves a great amount of activities. There are multiple sports available like Volleyball, Handball, Football, Basketball, Cricket, Badminton, Carrom and Chess. The Sports fest is held every year comprising of these sports and much more. Its amazingly held involving prose distribution to the winners and refreshments in the form of other food items to all the participants. But there are not any student clubs or portals. No such social groups are run.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostels are not so amazing. The rooms facilities involve just a bed and a table along with two tubelights and a fan. The walls are painted Pink and 1 Almirah with other 2 wooden cupboards are provided along with a wooden chair. The rooms quality and incfrastructure has improved in the new hostels. Talking about the food, the menu is okayish. It can be on a more healthier side including other healthy options other than Maggie or Pasta in the evening snacks. The quality and hygiene are not so on point. Registration process is simple just by applying in the office. Hostel provides you with 2 room options either you can take a bathroom attached room or can prefer to go with non attached one. The rooms are in the hostel itself. We are not allowed to go for any PG or any other rented room outside the campus area

Admission

The admission process is long involving a great submission of documents and medical examination. Submission of documents occur prior then submission of fees. This is a long hectic process which involves 1-2 days. The cut off for the college varies from year to year. As the seats of the MBBS candidates increased from the year 2022, the cut off has decreased and dropped down to 350 marks our of 720.

Faculty

4

The faculty members are amazing. They teach with enthusiasm and energy. The provide explanation with use of examples and images. PPTs are designed in such simple way to teach the student in the Best and easy way possible. They are available also for clearing the doubts of the student. They are best to reach out for the help. They even support the student if they are anxiety and help them best to give them a right direction.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is overrated no doubt but at the end it all worth it when you treat the patient. Currently NMC guidelines are clinically directed but the way college fulfills it are not up to the guidelines. After doing MBBS in this college you are not that much confident to prescribe any medication independently. Education here is more theoretical than practical. College can improve it by giving more practical knowledge on real patients. Due to lots of junior residents, MBBS students get less chance to perform any clinical activities.

I don't think I really need to say something about the relevance of mbbs as course. You become a doctor after completing your cumbersome 5 year that itself is very relevant. You come so many different types and flavours of people during this time. You just need to enjoy the process

The curriculum is although good but should focus more on practical than theory as the course targets on field work . There should be more practical based teaching for easy learning and the ratio of practical exam should increase

Course Curriculum Overview:

My curriculum is a study of real life where you're handling a whole life in your hands . You have to deal with them beside your ego and emotion. It prepares us for the real world . However, I think ENT and Optha should move back to 3rd year to reduce the load of 4th year. The frequency of examination are once in 2.5 months but you get only a month or 20 days gap between your PU and proffs. Proffs are do or die ,which I find most difficult.
