Course Curriculum Overview

Throughout these 2 years I have learnt a lot and met many friends and got to know many brilliant professors . The head of the CSE department he is one of my fav even though he doesn't know my name he knows that i exist and talks to me in such a way that I got so much of inspiration.

Tuition fees is 15000 per semester (6 months) Hostel admission fees is 12500 per semester (6 months) Mess fees is 5600 per semester (6 months) We get scholarship yearly. I got once till now . We got many scholarship options like NSP , issan Uday, etc

Campus Life

There are 2 special functions held in our college one is TECHRACY the technical fest and the other is ECSTASY the cultural fest. Both are the most sought functions of the entire year not only the students of our college but students from the nearby colleges also come to take part in various activities of the festival.

Hostel Facilities

There are a total of 4 hostel for boys and 2 for the girls. The food quality of the hostel mess is an average. Students like eating the food but you know students' we will get bored eating in the same place and if that place is hostel

Admission

I gave an entrance examination to get into CIT kokrajhar which was held by th college board itself. I scored a very decent percentage that gave me 21 rank in my whole ST category. Then during the counciling i came to the college all alone and choose my fav department out of all but also I had to choose other two departments as an option if don't get my first choice. But because of my rank I got my 1st choice that was CSE b. Tech and currently studying here in CIT kokrajhar as a CSE b. Tech student in my 2nd year.

My View on the DIBRUGARH University Institute of Engineering and Technology

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 5th semester. Various companies visit the campus each year. Since the college is specialised for petroleum engineering placement offers come from OIL, NRL, ONGC, BCPL,etc for the petroleum and mechanical branches. Various other companies and startups come for students from the CSE and ECE departments But the percentage of students getting placed is low as the top students from each branch are only allowed to sit in the placements drive. I plan to try for the campus placements. Of I don't make it then will attempt GATE. for mtech.
