Course Curriculum Overview

It's very good to choose a bsc who wants to make their career in the research and teaching field. The IOS faculty is very good and very friendly. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. and net set qualified. There are a total of 6 semesters in the whole bsc course.

Internships Opportunities

HCL technologies private limited and Tata consultancy services are the companies that offer placements to students. Also, there are various companies that offer internship opportunities to the students.

Placement Experience

There are placement opportunities in the 6th semester. The average package offered is between 2.5-3 lack per year. Topper students with skills are recruited with the interviews. My plan is to do msc after my graduation completion.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees vary from year to year. For 1st year it is 4-5 thousand and for 2nd and 3rd year it is between 5-6 thousand. There are various huge cash scholarships up to rs 120000 rewarded to students every year.

Campus Life

'Umang' is the annual gathering conducted in the January month where students enjoy, have fun, and learn. IOS has a huge library with more than 50,000 books. Classrooms and laboratories are well equipped. The unofficial handle of IOS Instagram is IOS official.

Hostel Facilities

There are two separate hostels for boys and girls on the college campus itself. There are two beds in each room with light, a fan, and a cupboard. The college has a canteen and mess too. The quality of the food is very good and tasty. The hostel is very affordable with a 1600 rs annual fee.

Admission

Applicant must be 12th pass with any board with a minimum of 75%. Application forms will be released to the college. Official website as soon as the 12th result is declared. The application fee is very minimal between 10-100 rs.

My honest opinion on my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I thought that zoology is most interesting to learn and its have future job opportunity. So basically zoo student are like little dr or zoologist. It provides little bit of that syllabus while learning you feel like you are dr or expert in zoology which example we experience in our day to day life. They need to add more teachers and placement opportunity. After every one and half month there is exam.

Well as per our seniors and professors recruiters often visit our college to give placements. There are some big companies too who send their recruiters here. My professor had told me they once got a package for a student for 7,00,000 inr which i think is too much exaggerated but still you could get a placement of 1,00,000-2,00,000 here as a fresher.

My hollistic experience

As far as I am concerned the admission process is comparatively simple from other universities. The first process would be the same everywhere i.e. making the login I'd in the portal. The second stage is applying to different colleges in universities. I applied for the Institute of Science Nagpur, it was through Google Forms and was simple to understand. The admission process didn't take so long and I got the reservation benefits as well. If you want to apply to the Institute of Science then I highly recommend RTMNU University for basic sciences.
