Campus life in jngec

50 per cent of seats are reserved for jee mains and the rest are provided on the basis of hpcet. You can find the application form on hptu website. Different reservations are provided by hptu and separate entrance exams will be conducted by them.

I choose mechanical engineering. It is the oldest course in jngec. But nowadays very less students are enrolled in this course. The faculty is very good and their teaching methods are also great than the rest of the college. Two sessional exams and one final exam are conducted during a semester.

On-campus placement is very poor, hardly any company came to the college for placement. Only final-year students are eligible for campus placement. Only 2-3 companies came to college and last year the highest package was 6-7 lakh per annum in the textile department.

The fees for all courses are the same and constant for the last 3 years. The fee is collected on a semester basis. The fee is different for odd and even semesters and varies from 25000-29000 for boys and a half for girls. Various scholarships are also provided under different government schemes.

Every year annual fest named "twask" is celebrated on campus. It is two days long, there is a night show, DJ night, and various activities and tasks that you can participate in. Every year sports meet is also conducted. The college has different clubs and societies.
