Remarks
It was alloted on the basis of jossa counselling. Admission depends upon jeemain rank, and then jossa counselling is conducted. Comparing it with other IITs/NITs it have less campus area, although it's NIRF ranking is improving and also there is gradual increase in package offered is observed.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was having intrest in electric instruments and want to discover more about electric and magnetic fields that's why I joined electrical engineering. Particularly for electric branch current faculty -students ratio is 1:60. A semester exam is conducted in three phases i.e minor1, minor 2 and end sem. Also includes many assignment. Passing criteria is 40% and is not much difficult.
Placement Experience
According to placement head the average package for ca branch is 6 lakh and the dream package is 6.5 lakh, and for rest of the branches average package is 5 lakh and the dream package is 5.5 lakh. However the highest package till date is at around 39 lakh.
College Events
The techfest is Techniti and the cultural fest is utkarsh, I didn't have much experience about these because it is not much time has been passed since my joining. Although both fest conducted for 3 days, there are many clubs which you can join that includes dance club, music club, drama club etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The semester fee mentioned i.e 62500 is for the students whose family income is more than 5 lakh, for students whose family income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh they will get 2/3 fee off i.e they need to pay only 1/3 rd of tution fee, and for the students whose family income is less then 1 lakh they need not pay any tution fee. Also ST/SC need not pay any tution fee doesn't matter in which category they fall. However other charges applicable are same for all the categories.
Hostel Facilities
Everything in meal is good except chapattis, menu is decided by mess secretary which was chosen among hostel students by chief warden after hosting an interview. Registration process is done online via going to link provided on institute website.
