Student's Review On Hindu College, Moradabad

Hindu College is good college for its mathematics faculty. Maths faculty of Hindu College is famous for students support. I want to take admission in IITs, but I have not selected so I think to prepare for IIT JAM, so I choose this college. Mostly students choose Hindu college due to its low fee, and this is also a reason why I was chosen it. Maths faculty and low fee structure forced me to take admission in this college.

The mathematics syllabus is very good and similar to central universities, the first year, and second-year mathematics is divided into three parts while third-year mathematics is divided into four parts. Each part has its own separate faculty. Our classes are scheduled, with 2 sections of paper each week.The Physics Department is also famous because it gives 2 or 3 ranks every year in competitions like JAM, Nest. Shri, Mahendra (Senior Faculty of Physics) Department is very famous for his knowledge of quantum and thermal physics. Dilip Sir is very famous for his knowledge of algebra in Moradabad, Faculty of Mathematics.Sanjeev Rajan is our Mathematics HOD.Chemistry is also good, with 4 classes and 2 practical chemistry each week. Many students may not be happy with the labs, but my aim is mathematics so I have no problem with it. Physics and chemistry have 3 - 3 parts for each year. The physics syllabus is very good, but chemistry is focused on basics and our chemistry syllabus may not match with other universities.

The college has one placement cell placed in mathematics department. I don't hear the news of any selection, even my college do not organize any placement derive because this is not a technical college, Hindu College is famous for basic science and preparation for different exams like UPSC, SSC, JAM, NET e.t.c. many students of my college clear NET every year. Placement cell organize some workshops, but very few students attended it. Overall college is not good for placement because this is not a technical college.

The college has not conducted cultural fests, but it organizes activities like debate, speech, poem writing e.t.c. The physics department with the help of IAPT organizes NGPE every year, this is a national level physics examination. Each year our university organizes different sports competitions. Each department organizes its different activities like the Hindi department organize a debate, botany department organizes poster competition. The mathematics department organize each year an olympiad so that students can brush up their knowledge for national-level competitions.

The college has no playground and no wifi. The college has one central library and two parks like grounds. The college has its own parking. Each department has its own library and labs. The central library is used for borrowing books, and it is a place where many students read newspapers or current affairs magazines. The chemistry lab has old equipment, the physics lab has also old experiments but the previous year two new experiments are introduced. Geography, Botany, Zoology, Geography departments have also their labs.
