Student's Review On Sinhgad Institute Of Technology And Science -[SITS] Narhe, Pune

Mainly I came to know that highly qualified teachers conduct classes effectively throughout the year. Teachers are always in touch with the guardians of the students through telephone calls and Parent-Teacher Meets organized by each department. Attendance is compulsory. As a result we always end up with good academics, with outstanding results in the University Examinations. Along with this the curriculum activity is also the best. So I chose this college.

Teachers in our college have good knowledge. Most of them have completed their PhDs, and this helps us in getting the best from our teachers. They help us in every possible way during our examinations. We also get good industrial training from them.

The 80% students got placed. The highest package offered was 9lpa and the lowest package offered was 3lpa. There were many IT companies including Infosys, Accenture, cognizant etc. The top roles offered were software developer, technical support engineer etc.

Various fests are arranged by the seniors and faculties as well. However academics are given more importance than cultural events. Technical hackathons are arranged. We get certificates and awards for the participation and winners.

I availed scolarship for OBC category. This scholarship allowed me to pay half fees.These scolarships vary from category to category.

For each division we have separate classrooms with LCD projectors, OHPS and spacious well equipped laboratories for each department.There was a facility of Wi-Fi. The quality of food was good. There were two main canteen inside the campus only, one for boys and other for girls. There is a hostel inside the campus

Hostel facility is available for Boys & Girls in the campus. The rooms are self-sufficient with 24 Solar system for hot water, water purifiers for drinking water and cupboards in addition to the attached washrooms.Also we have Canteen facility in the campus, providing lunch and dinner. Along with this there are Cafeteria, Juice bar and Chaat centre for breakfast items.
