Remarks

The process of admission is alright and the classes are alright. I got the admission in July 2016 and started college on 15th of August 2016. But when the examination time came, the process was expensive. Though it was an annual based exam, the examination fees was Rs. 4500. I had to get admission asap and they were open. No other reason.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as it was a well-reputed field in medicine. As there are only 5 students, there was only 1 teacher for our batch. Our teacher was about 4 year older to us and she finished her bachelor's in the same field. We had unit tests sometimes and it was tough certain times.

We didn't have any campus placements in our college for our course as we have internship in the hospital within the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fees was Rs. 35000 at the beginning of the 1st academic year and then it was reduced to Rs. 30000 in the following years. I didn't avail any scholarships or financial assistance.

Campus Life

All these were there in our college: Fests, Library, Classrooms and sports. The fests were alright. The library was made available to various journals and books.

Work hard don't stop

Placement Experience:

From after a internship after the fourth year the students become eligible for the campus placement. Titan eye care lenskart are the companies visited. 10 students in 30 average gets the placement. My plans after getting the degree is to go abroad and explore more about my course and to take the More education in this field.

The Best Optometry college of India

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed here is the best for someone who is passionate about optometry and the best about the course is that u don't have to examine the patients but also can prescribe them medicines for so. The frequency of each exam is 1.5 months in between two units. The difficulty level of the exams is accurate enough as per the teaching and one can easily pass the exams if they follow the course with dedication.

A Perfect University for students who wants to learn

Placement Experience:

The students usually become eligible for campus placements after 4th year when their internship is over. Ziess, Baush and Lomb, and Lenskart are the companies that visits often in the college. They provide with workshops for students and also offer jobs. The highest packages are offered based on your performances. But the lowest package is really good. Also a lot of students get placement from this college.

HONEST TALK ABOUT DY PATIL

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, students can get jobs in the hospitals but if you are from the RIT department you can get a job in the 2nd year. The highest package in my course was 12 lakh per annum and the lowest is 3 lakh per anum. Almost 90% students get the placements which are why dy Patil is so good. I will pursue a masters degree after my bachelor's from the same college.
