Remarks
The University is well reputed and the college is ranked number 1 and the courses and specialisations were very specific to what I wanted. Their offerings of projects and internships throughout the course further added to my desire to join the university, it was the perfect package for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is extremely diverse, the added projects furthermore add to the experience. 5 internships during the three years helps get a look into the industry really well while you're in it. The faculty is well read and understand the students perspective. There is lots of room for creativity with clubs and events. Faculties like Mr Sagar Kamath knew how to make a subject like History a favourite of the students and furthermore, having 12 subjects per semester added to a lot of learning in less time. Despite it getting hectic, learning was never compromised
Internships Opportunities
We had 3 mandatory NGO internships and 2 mandatory industry internships, giving us excellent exposure through the 3 years. Even though they came at the expense of no vacations, they definitely became an irreplaceable part of our journey. The stipends were very subjective based on the company and location but they always offered great learning which was what mattered at the end of the day
Placement Experience
They placements are very open with our placement cell giving us the opportunity to either opt for placements or not considering you're choosing higher education. They were very consistent with their work and showed immediate action knowing how important these are to the student's lives and career. There were no compromises when it came to them.
College Events
We had several types of events throughout the year that allowed a platform to all students for different forms of expression. These events were very personal as each specialisation had their own event, further pushing them to express themselves even more, making them a lot more personal. This allowed a stage to everyone to work on a bigger project, along with learning. These involved cultural and creative fest's and even our sports fest named ITS, that happened in December was all inclusive
Campus Life
The infrastructure was very attractive, with free college WiFi, a common meeting room for any form of creative activities, a library with many categories of books available for students. Availability of softwares to use at all times for creative and other tasks was another boon. This allowed to work without limits at all times
