New Delhi: The Central University of Kashmir’s Vice Chancellor, Professor A. Ravinder Nath has announced that the university will offer fee waivers to needy and meritorious students on the basis of merit to improve the admission intake.
Informing about this initiative, Central University of Kashmir, Professor Nath shared, “We will be providing 100 percent tuition fee waiver to 10 per cent students based on merit and financial need of the students in the post-graduate courses, another 10 per cent students will get 50 per cent waiver while another 10 per cent will get 25 per cent waiver”.
Nath further shared that the university's curriculum is created in line with the National Education Policy 2020. The institution will collaborate with firms in different regions of the country to offer internship opportunities to students.
So far, the Central University of Kashmir has joined hands with Malaysian universities while MoUs with more universities are coming up in several countries.
“Our students must make use of that mainly from this region, Jammu and Kashmir, to explore further opportunities of their career progression not only in the Central University of Kashmir but also other premier institutions of the country,” Professor Nath added.
